Since I’ve been gone… May 28, 2012Posted by frizzybaker in Uncategorized.
The Frizzybaker has been taking a hiatus from cooking, blogging, and life all together. I have gone back to school full-time for a master’s in nurse anesthesia! This is what I have been doing for the last 5 months
Pretty cool huh?
unfortunately I am not cooking, baking or eating anything interesting — unless you count hospital food as interesting… which some may
But! One cool thing about my new adventure is that I get to wear fun caps to cover up bed head. Like this one!
Hopefully I’ll get to post some pictures in the near future of me in my cute cap that my Aunt bought me.
Hope you had a fantastic memorial day weekend!
Merry Christmas Eve & Christmas December 25, 2011Posted by frizzybaker in Adventures.
Christmas Eve is our family’s big night. My brother, his wife, and their two children come over and we exchange presents and fondue! My brother started this tradition because it slows everyone down to enjoy conversation and savor the food. I love it.
First, it’s off to the children’s service at church!
Mom & dad
Isaac & Nicole
Followed by Thing 1 and Thing 2
Nicole and Isaac were responsible for making the Christmas Drink this year: Berry Merry Christmas
Kevin drank it before I photographed the Berry Merry drink (and then I proceeded to lick off all the sugar crystals.) Speaking of Kevin… not only did he drink the Berry Merry drink, but then a glass of wine, followed by Dewers with the men. The result?
His post-drink snooze didn’t last long as Thing 1/Thing2 wanted to play!
And then we all did this…
Only to wake up Christmas morning to THIS!
Good morning Izzy Pizzy and Nicole! P.S. my mama made them flannel jammies. Aren’t they cute?!
Dear Santa: all I want for Christmas is Kevin 🙂
But wait there’s more! The return of Thing1/Thing2
The warrior got a remote control helicopter for Christmas! But I have a sneaking suspicion that it was really a gift for the men.

The Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year (along with many other people I’m sure). Full of parties, friends, food, and family. Today we visited with some friends at Panera for lunch in between rushing around to get last-minute presents and food items.
These are good friends of my family! It was wonderful to be able to care a little bit of time to share lunch.
mmmm, I’m such a sucker for Panera.
This Christmas, I was in charge of desert and I had planned to make my delicious Tirimisu. However, I had an EPIC fail. When I say to whip the heavy whipping cream into STIFF peaks, I mean REALLY STIFF peaks. Sheesh, I can’t even follow my own recipe!
Turned out a little soupy. . . doh!
My sister and Isaac just arrived! Yay for Family! To all a good night 🙂
