Seattle Day Four June 29, 2011

Posted by frizzybaker in Adventures.

On day four of birthdacation, Katie and I took a bus down to Pike’s Place Market. It reminded me of the Reading Terminal Market when I lived in Philadelphia.

It was 70 degrees and the sun was shining!

We explored the market,

sampled all the food,

and bought our lunch at the Market Grill,

where they were serving up fresh salmon sandwiches!

Erm, not that fresh 🙂

That night for dinner I treated Greg and Katie (since they had been such WONDERFUL hosts!) to dinner at Tamarind Tree, a Vietnamese restaurant. I don’t think I have ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant but I was pleased to find it incredibly deeeeelicious!

So happy in love!

It had a great ambience and even better food!

And my dish!

Good food with good company! Only one more day left in Seattle! 😦

Katie’s dish looks more appetizing than yours.
